Title:
Power, Truth, Love & Joy: An Empowerment Workshop for Women
When:
03/11/2011 - 03/13/2011
Where:
Rowe Camp & Conference Center - Rowe
Category:
Workshop

Description

Drawing from Charlotte’s 16-step empowerment model and ego-state therapy, we will learn how to go under our fears and find our core self. We will tap into our creativity, joy, and ability to be proactive in our lives. This empowerment is available to each of us and is at the heart of healing from trauma, addiction, and depression.

Ego-state therapy helps us honor all our internal voices while recognizing the ones that developed early as survival tactics and became the censors, critics, and saboteurs that now get in our way. Through exercises that reflect a knowledge of how the brain registers early experience, we will explore how to put our wisest, natural, adult-self in charge without squelching our capacity for creativity and joy.

We will unravel the role that fear plays in our lives: rationalizing, making excuses, worrying about what others think, living in old stories, holding back, and censoring our creativity, joy, and love.  We will explore the immense healing power of finding our voice and deciphering our truths, while practicing kindness and compassion with and for ourselves and others.

All segments will be related to feeling more confident and at ease in our lives and relationships. This workshop will be lively, interactive, and uplifting and will include lecture, dialogue, and experiential segments.

Certificates of Attendance are available to those applying for CEUs.
